Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Indio Desert Escape! By booking a stay at our property, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully:
1. Booking and Payment:
– Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
– We accept payments via our secure online booking platform.
2. Check-In/Check-Out:
– Check-in is at 4PM, and check-out is at 11AM.
– Early check-ins and late check-out requests must be approved in advance and may incur additional fees.
3. Pool Heating:
– The swimming pool can be heated for an additional fee of $75 per day. Please notify us at least 3 days before your stay if you would like to add this option.
4. Maximum Occupancy:
– The maximum occupancy of the property is 12 guests. If 12 guests are sleeping in the home the air mattress must be used and placed in the living room or the master bedroom (the room with the bunk bed can have two lightweight people sleep on each bunk). Exceeding 12 guests may result in additional charges or termination of your stay without a refund.
5. House Rules:
– Guests are expected to adhere to all house rules, which are provided at the button below (click “See House Rules” button below) and at the property. Failure to follow the rules may result in fines or eviction.
– No smoking or illegal activities are permitted on the property.
– Quiet hours are from 9PM to 9AM to respect our neighbors and the city ordinance.
6. Damages and Liability:
– Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the property during their stay. We reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacement costs.
– Indio Desert Escape is not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property. Guests are responsible for their own safety and security during their stay.
7. Supplies and Amenities:
– The property is equipped with basic supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.), but these are not unlimited. Guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies as needed during their stay.
– All provided amenities, such as the pool, hot tub, and outdoor games, are to be used responsibly. Guests are liable for any damages to these amenities.
8. Pets:
– Pets are not allowed unless expressly stated at the time of booking. Additional fees and cleaning charges will apply if unauthorized pets are found on the property.
9. Property Access:
– Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay, including the pool, garage, and outdoor areas.
– The property is equipped with a smart lock for easy, contactless check-in. Detailed instructions will be provided prior to arrival.
10. Cancellation Policy:
– A full refund is given if cancellation is made 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is given if cancellation is made 14 days before check-in. No refund is given if cancellation is made 0-13 days before check-in. No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to weather or natural disasters.
11. Housekeeping:
– The property is professionally cleaned before each stay. No daily housekeeping services are provided unless otherwise requested for an additional fee.
12. Maintenance and Repairs:
– In the event of any maintenance issues, please notify us immediately. We will make every effort to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
– Indio Desert Escape reserves the right to enter the property for emergency repairs, though we will give notice whenever possible.
13. Force Majeure:
– Indio Desert Escape is not liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, power outages, or other events beyond our control.
14. Governing Law:
– These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of California. Any disputes arising from these terms will be handled in the appropriate California jurisdiction.
